Dana hails from Down Under (Australia, not Provo) and though she talks funny, she’s also beautiful and just a heap ‘o fun, to boot.
When I saw her dress from Alta Moda Bridal I knew that I wanted to do something dramatic with her bridals and I thought that a bit of desert would suit her heritage and contrast nicely. She was totally down with a bit of adventure, so an hour and a half of driving later, we found ourselves with near perfect sky conditions. We had thought that the trip would only take 30 minutes, however, so by the time we got there, I had to work fast to make the most of the 20 minutes of light that I had remaining! It was probably not my most relaxed bridal session, but its one of my favorites so far this year.
Thank you, Dana, for putting up with all of the craziness! I think it was worth it.

The wind kicked up, tussling hair…

…and billowing out the train of her dress.

Green-eyed, and windswept and sexy as hell.

This b/w is groom David’s favorite!

On the way back, we stopped by an old derelict motel. They had no vacancies, so we just used it as a backdrop. [Dana swears that the place is haunted] Fun with lasers!

I threw this one in just as a sneak peak of their wedding post…stay tuned…
